MARVELLOUS MAMMALS!
Come along and learn a little about UK mammals. We will look for signs of mammals in the grounds and identifying tracks and animal droppings.
After meeting, we will head out into the parklands in search of signs of mammals. We will learn about UK mammal droppings and go on a ‘pooh’ hunt. We will then return to the wildlife education area to work on skills for our Wild Passport. The session will end with a campfire snack.
About Wildlife Club
A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.
They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Booking Information
Tickets must be pre-booked online. Each ticket includes a free adult ticket to accompany the child (max 1 adult per child). Under 5's are free. On the day, please meet in the main carpark by the picnic benches and have your tickets ready for a 10am start.
