SUPER SUMMER! Join us in a celebration of summer as we explore the parklands in search for signs of summer and create some natural art. Bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.

After meeting we will head out to explore and create wild crowns while learning to identify summer plants and flowers. We will stop to enjoy a picnic and games in the grounds.
We will then return to the woodland education area where family groups will work together to create summer-themed crafts.

About Wildlife Club

A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.

They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.

This year the club will aim to cover as many of the National Trusts ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ activities’.

About Our Leader

Amber Botham has been working with children for over 25 years. She is a qualified teacher and level 3 qualified Forest School Leader with a passion for outdoor learning. Our wildlife club will focus on activities linked to the season and will include natural crafts, using tools, den building, fire lighting as well as games and time to play and explore in the natural world.
