After meeting we will head to collect materials and keep warm.
We will then return to the woodland area to cook a snack on the campfire before families work together to use the collected materials and tools to make tent pegs and/or build your own den.
About Wildlife Club
A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.
They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
This year the club will aim to cover as many of the National Trusts ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ activities’.
