After meeting you will head off into the parkland for a compass treasure hunt where you will
collect leaves and seeds. We will press the leaves to use in crafts next month.
We will then return to the woodland education area to learn more about seed dispersal and
plant tree seeds. The session will end with a campfire snack and conker competition.
About Wildlife Club
A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.
They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
This year the club will aim to cover as many of the National Trusts ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ activities’.
