Use tools and natural materials to create a range of Christmas decorations to take away while enjoying the campfire!
After meeting, we will collect materials for making decorations. We will then return to the warmth of the fire for a hot drink and snack.
We will spend the rest of the session keeping warm around the fire and family groups will use a range of tools and techniques to make natural Christmas decorations to take away.
About Wildlife Club
Each sessions will offer a wider range of hands-on fun and adventurous environmental activities, as well as an opportunity for outdoor play, crafts and games. The club is designed to offer its members the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn 'outdoor' skills.
Children can also use Wildlife Club to earning the RSPB’s Wild Challenge Award.
The club is aimed at families with children aged 5-12, younger siblings may attend. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
These sessions will take place outside so participants should come dressed for the weather conditions. Footwear should cover the foot and we suggest long sleeves and trousers.
