We are over the moon to hear that The Walled Garden has been named Small Visitor Attraction of the Year for Yorkshire
Head Gardener, Paul Smith, and Administrator, Anne Ainsley, received the trophy on behalf of Scampston, from The Yorkshire Post, at a packed awards ceremony. Held at the Harrogate Events Centre, the spectacular event was the final of Welcome to Yorkshire's White Rose Awards for 2010. It was attended by over 1000 people representing more than 90 tourism businesses from across Yorkshire which had been first nominated and then shortlisted for awards.
